  • 1316: Sultan Alauddin Khilji, the ruler of the Khilji dynasty, died.
  • 1649: The English Rump Parliament votes to put Charles I on trial for treason and other “high crimes”
  • 1664: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj attacked Surat.
